Showa Breeding

Showa time, these were some of the parent koi used in our last round of breedings for 2021 season.

We have successfully stripped and now hatched eggs from all 6 females that were moved into the breeding ponds last week. The females used were Showa, Gin Rin Showa , Doitsu Showa, Kin Showa, Beni kikokuryo, Kikusui, with selected males to match each female.

2 - 3 week old fry from this round of spawning will be available in 2 weeks time
