Today we have started our second round of grading on the kohakus. They were spawned early April and the majority of the fry were sold off at 2 weeks old, we kept a relatively small number of around 30,000 as they were to be kept in the hatcheries longer than normal these were culled down to 3,000 in the first round of grading when they were around 2 inch.
Now they are average 3-4inch and around 1 in 4 being kept to carry on growing so around 750 total. Video is just a scoop as they come from the pond already great skin quality is shining through.
